Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Atatürk) is set to take delivery of its first B787-9 in June this year, chief executive Bilal Eksi has revealed. The carrier currently has twenty-five of the type on order from Boeing.
Speaking via social media, he also revealed that the carrier's first of twenty-five A350-900s would tentatively deliver from Airbus in March 2020.
According to its 3Q18 financials, Turkish Airlines expects six B787-9s this year followed by nine in 2020, six in 2021, and four in 2022. Of the A350s, it expects five in 2020, four in 2021, eight in 2022, and eight again in 2023.
