Airhub Airlines launches, secures US FACP

Airhub Airlines (GJM, Malta Int'l) launched operations on August 25, 2020, deploying its sole A320-200 on a charter flight from Vilnius to Heraklion and return on behalf of its parent GetJet Airlines (GW, Vilnius), Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.
9H-EMU (msn 2118) has since been deployed to Lamezia Terme under GetJet's code. The 17-year-old twinjet is leased from Gladiator Leasing and was transferred from Airhub Airlines' parent.
The new Maltese unit has also secured its Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) from the US Department of Transportation (DOT), permitting it to operate charter services to and from the United States.
Airhub Airlines applied for the FACP on August 3, just two weeks after securing its Air Operator's Certificate. The DOT granted the airline the permit on August 27, 2020.
Having transferred the single A320 to Airhub Airlines, GetJet Airlines continues to operate five A319-100s, four A320s, two B737-300s, three B737-400s, and a single widebody, an A330-300.
