JSX is celebrating the delivery of its 50th aircraft with a special livery. The aircraft, ERJ145LR N960JX (145479), is wearing a retro inspired livery "that honors the idyllic golden age of air travel". It was delivered on 30 September 2025 from Dothan (AL) to Dallas-Love Field (TX).
Originally founded as JetSuiteX in April 2016, it is established as a public charter operator and does not directly operate aircraft. Basically, JSX is chartering an aircraft from a subsidiary and reselling the seats to the public. As charter companies have lower safety screening regulations, JSX is able to operate from fixed-based operator stations at airport, bypassing the masses of big airports, and giving customers an experience that is more like flying a private jet.
JSX has fifty Embraers in service and is mainly operating out five main operating hubs at Burbank (CA), Dallas-Love Field (TX), Las Vegas (NV), Miami-Opa Locka (FL) and Scottsdale (AZ). In total, the airline is flying to around 30 destinations.
Later this year, JSX will introduce two ATR42-600s to its fleet to test out the concept of operating turboprops in its network but also enable to fly to new and smaller airports. If the test is succesful, JSX will move forward and firm (part of) its Letter of Intent it has signed with ATR for fifteen ATR42/72s.
