FLEET - Aerolíneas Argentinas to lease new aircraft

Aerolíneas Argentinas will lease new aircraft to renew and expand its fleet. The airline is also investing in the refurbishment of the cabins of part of its current fleet.

According to the airline's press-release, it will lease eighteen aircraft, consisting of four Airbus A330-900s, two Boeing B737-8s, four B737-9s, and eight B737-10s. No delivery timelines have been communicated.

The plans are possible now that Aerolíneas Argentinas has became profitable again last year after years of posting losses.

Today, the airline's fleet is made-up of ten A330-200s, four B737-700s, two B737-800SFs, 28 B737-800s, fourteen B737-8s, and 24 Embraer ERJ190s.
