• BH Air planning Bulgaria-US flights with A330 or A340

BH Air - Balkan Holidays Air has filed for approval with the US Department of Transportation to be allowed to launch scheduled services between Bulgaria and the United States from 2013. It plans to lease either an A330 or A340 to offer three weekly flights from Sofia International to New York John F. Kennedy International and Chicago O'Hare International. BH Air so far only operates charter flights in cooperation with tour operators and wet-leases on behalf of other airlines. It currently operates two A319-100 and six A320-200s.
