American Airlines will phase out its combined fleet of sixteen B767-200(ER)s as its first move to trim its growing aircraft inventory. Quoting US Airways1 AME Senior Vice President Andrew Nocella, the Crankyflier blog said US Airways' ten -200(ER)s would be among the first to go with all -200(ER) operations to cease from Summer 2015.
