easyJet is continuing to launch a plethora of seasonal services from its European bases, with three of them benefitting this week – namely those at Belfast International (BFS), Geneva and Hamburg (HAM). Only two of the routes faces any sort of competition, both from Hamburg, which will see the UK LCC up against airberlin (thrice-weekly) on Ibiza (IBZ) and germanwings (twice-weekly) to Split (SPU). The longest of the five new routes is the 1,767-kilometre sector from Hamburg to Ibiza, while the shortest is the 563-kilometre hop from Geneva to La Rochelle (LRH).
