Xiamen Airlines Rolls Out New Uniforms for Attendants

With the arriving of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner on Aug. 31, Xiamen Airlines unveiled new flight attendant uniforms, marking a new chapter for the airline.

Female flight attendants will wear a three-quarter sleeve dress, accompanied by a dark-blue wide-belt and a stylish hat embroidered with the airline logo.
The new uniform is designed to inherit and develop the stylish uniform of Xiamen Airlines, with a perfect blend of the traditional classic style and modern style, as well as fashion and comfort. The new blue uniforms features a fresh, classic look with a palette inspired by in Xiamen Airlines Blue - from a light blue, a royal blue to a dark blue, which are quite different compared with the current purple uniforms from the colors to the design, making the attendants look more international. According to the brightness of the uniforms, three colors stand for different positions of flight attendants, cabin crew chief and cabin crew manager.

Xiamen Airlines' flight attendants will wear the new uniforms to serve passengers on the Fuzhou-Beijing-Xiamen 787 flight on Sep. 6. Besides, the airline is also considering redesigning uniforms for its pilots and ground staff following the new uniforms taking wings on other Xiamen Airlines flights at the end of this year.
