China Eastern adds A350 Sydney service from late-March 2019

China Eastern in this week’s inventory update filed operational aircraft changes for Shanghai Pu Dong – Sydney route, effective from 31MAR19. The Skyteam member plans to introduce Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft on this route, as MU561/562, replacing A330-200.

Previously reported, the airline’s 787-9 aircraft is set to serve Shanghai Pu Dong – Melbourne route from 01FEB19. The 787-9 schedule in the last few days also extended into Northern summer season, on/after 31MAR19.
