Icelandair expects to increase its A321LR fleet from six to nine by summer 2027

One A320 will be delivered in May 2026 as one A321LR is delayed until fall 2026. 

The carrier is working on securing aircraft for 2027-28 as B757 and B767 phase out may be sped up due to market unrest — with both potentially exiting in late 2026.
