ARJ21-700 completes plateau flight test and successfully flies to Yanliang, Xi'an

ARJ21-700 AC102 successfully flew to Yanliang, Xi'an after successfully completing the plateau flight test on June 28th, 2013.

It is reported that since ARJ21-700 AC102 arrived at the Golmud Airport on June 18th, 2013, it has conducted 35 flight movements (excluding ferry flights) in total, with a cumulative flight time of 18 hours and 8 minutes, including 5 research and development flights, 9 conformance indication flights and 21 authority certification flight tests. The power plant start test at high altitude ground and auxiliary power unit restart test at high altitude ground were also conducted on site.

In addition, AC102 also set the new records for the flight sorties both in the outfield and during a single day. By multiple flight tests in severe conditions, the performance of ARJ21-700 in the plateau environmental conditions was verified.
