Iraq's Zagros Air changes its name to ZagrosJet ahead of its launch

Zagros Air (Iraq) (ZV, Erbil) has changed its name to ZagrosJet (ZV, Erbil) ahead of its planned early September launch. The carrier, a joint venture between Turkey's Atlasjet Airlines (KK, Antalya) and Northern Iraqi consortium Zagros Group, said the move was to avoid being confused with Zagros Airlines (Iran) (ZV, Abadan). According to the carrier, it will offer scheduled services from Erbil to Ankara Esenboga, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep and Adana in Turkey with other operations to include Amman Queen Alia, Beirut, Stockholm Arlanda and Tbilisi.
