A Boeing 737-700 aircraft, Registration B-5828, landed at Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG) at 4:28 p.m. on March 10 and officially joined the fleet of China Eastern Yunnan Airlines (MU), increasing its fleet to 67 aircraft.
As the largest base airline in Yunnan province, China Eastern Yunnan is sparing no effort to build Kunming into a regional hub.
In the upcoming summer-autumn flight season of 2015, China Eastern Yunnan plans to launch 11 routes including 7 international routes and 4 domestic routes, and increase the frequency of 8 flights from Kunming to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, etc.
The Spring Festival travel rush is about to end soon. According to the current operation statistics, China Eastern Yunnan will record a new high in both passengers transported and flights operated.
Furthermore, the arrival of the new aircraft will strongly boost the Yunnan-based carrier's transport capacity and meet the demand of the increasing flights and passengers.
