NEW AIRLINE - Air Sierra Leone was launched by the government as a flag carrier airline, with operations beginning on 02 December 2024 to Abidjan, Accra, Monrovia, Banjul, Dakar, Conakry, and London Gatwick.

The London charter route will operate with a B737-8. Emmanuel Iza serves as the CEO of the airline, with technical support provided by Xejet (Nigeria), which also provided two ERJ145s. Another B737 will also join the fleet.
