CRJ-900LR / 5N-CFA
Gateway Air is a new state-supported airline in Nigeria, closely linked to Ogun State and its new Gateway International Airport, which officially began commercial flight operations on October 7th, 2025, with ValueJet operating the inaugural flights.
The airline will initially operate a Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, though it is not yet stated if it will operate flights under its own brand or partner with other carriers.
Gateway Air aims to improve connectivity within Nigeria and West Africa, leveraging its modern airport infrastructure to boost commerce, tourism, and development in Ogun State.
