Greater Bay Airlines held a special welcome ceremony at Hong Kong-International Airport to celebrate the delivery of its first Boeing B737MAX. The aircraft, B737-9 B-KWA (64132), had already arrived at the airport on 22 November 2025 after its delivery flight from Seattle-Boeing Field (WA).
The MAX is the first of fifteen the airline ordered in March 2023 as part of its fleet renewal and expansion plans.
Greater Bay Airlines is, next to its new B737-9, operating a fleet of seven B737-800s. The airline launched flights back in 2022 and is currently flying to sixteen destinations in China, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
