The first ultra-long-range Airbus A350 for Qantas has rolled off the Airbus assembly line in Toulouse, France.
The aircraft, with French test registration F-WZNK, left the assembly line on April 12, 2026, fully assembled with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, wings, fuselage, and landing gear. It will now undergo ground checks and then a two-month flight test program before being delivered to Qantas by the end of this year.
Commercial operations are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
