The flight marks the first A380 service to Mexico and Cancun.
It coincides with Air France's 80th anniversary celebrations, as well as Grupo ASUR's 15th anniversary of operations at Cancun International Airport.
The service will depart Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 12.40pm, arriving in Cancun at 4.35pm.
The return flight, pushed back by 95 minutes to accommodate the superjumbo, will depart CUN at 8.35pm and arrive at CDG at 12.55pm the next day.
