LC Perú (W4, Lima) will begin international operations later this month with a 3x weekly service from Iquitos in Peru to Leticia in Colombia. Flights are scheduled to begin on March 17 and will operate on-board a Dash 8-200.
The route will cater primarily to the business sector and is part of a bold expansion drive the Peruvian carrier is undertaking this year. According to Skyliner Aviation, LC Perú is also set to take delivery of its first two jet aircraft - a pair of B737-500s - later this year.
At present, the Peruvian carrier operates six Dash 8-200s on flights throughout the South American country.
