This process is carried out in various stages. After sanding the aircraft structure and applying an anti-corrosion protective layer, the paint is sprayed onto the aircraft using paint spray guns, in several layers. The Company's name and logo, and registration number, were also applied during this process.
The 500th 787 to have been rolled out from the Boeing factory is now officially christened.
The adventure continues for the plane arriving at Paris-CDG on 2nd December!
