Equatorial Guinea's Cronos Airlines to add maiden A319

Cronos Airlines (C8, Malabo) will shortly add a maiden A319-100 to its fleet in the form of SX-BHN (cn 1612). The twinjet, on wet-lease from Greece's Olympus Airways (OLY, Athens Int'l), was recently seen at Craiova sporting the Equatoguinean carrier's colours earlier this week.

Cronos Airlines also operates one BAe 146-200, one BAe 146-300, and two ERJ-135LRs. In terms of routes, it serves Bata locally as well as Douala, Yaoundé Nsimalen, Lagos, Port Harcourt Omagwa, and Accra regionally.

Airline Business Development Manager, Abena Agyeman-Rebollar, has alluded to the planned launch of flights to Cotonou, Niamey, and Johannesburg O.R. Tambo.
