NEW AIRLINE - Middle East Airlines (Lebanon) plans to launch its LCC subsidiary Middle East Airlines (Lebanon) plans to launch its LCC subsidiary Fly Beirut with an initial fleet of up to six A320s in June 2027, according to chairman and CEO Mohamad El-Hout. The airline will operate as a separately managed subsidiary of Middle East Airlines, designed to offer more accessible fares while maintaining operational independence from the legacy carrier. 

Fly Beirut is expected to connect Beirut to several key destinations including Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Dubai, and Düsseldorf. 

The model aims to serve routes with lower demand for business class, focusing instead on a streamlined, low-cost travel experience.
