Asiana Cargo set for first B747-8 freighter

Asiana Airlines will take delivery of its first B747-8(F) msn 60118, after the aircraft has undergone painting in Victorville. The jet, formerly N5023Q destined for Atlas Air but never taken up, is part of a fleet of five the South Korean carrier will lease from China's ICBC Financial Leasing Co.

Currently, Asiana Cargo operates ten B747-400(F)s and one B767-300(F) on flights throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. ch-aviation
