China Southern Airlines (CZ) has retired its last ERJ-145, Registration B-3061, marking an end to the regional aircraft's more than 10 years service with the airline.
The B-3061 aircraft joined China Southern on June 28, 2004, with a configuration of 50 economy class seats. The last ERJ-145 aircraft flew to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal on Nov. 21, according to a Weibo post.
China Southern took delivery of its first two ERJ-145s as the launch customer for the regional aircraft in June 2004. The Chinese customer ordered a total of six ERJ-145s in February 2004, with deliveries through January 2005.
In the past decade, the airline's six ERJ-145s have flown on domestic routes for more than hundreds of thousands safety flight hours, without any incidents.
After retirement from China Southern, the B-3061 aircraft will enter service with Komiaviatrans State Air Enterprise, a Russian airline
