With the new aircraft joining in the fleet, 4 aircraft were retired in December including 2 757-200s and one 737-200 and one business jet, the airline said in the announcement.
By the end of December 2014, Air China has a modern fleet of 540 aircraft.
Specifically, the flag carrier and Boeing signed a purchase deal of 60 737s, including Next-Generation 737 and 737 MAX airplanes, valued at more than US$5.55 billion at list prices. Deliveries are expected between 2016 and 2020, Air China said
