The ceremony to celebrate the first 737-8 aircraft between Boeing and Vietjet witnessed by President Luong Cuong in Seattle.
The ceremony took place with full honors at Boeing’s Delivery Center in Seattle, Washington, attended by Vietnam’s President Luong Cuong, senior officials from both nations, and key business partners.

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States, the event marks both a major milestone in the growing partnership between Vietjet and Boeing and a powerful symbol of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations—driving trade, investment, and creating hundreds of thousands of jobs in the U.S.

The new aircraft, along with hundreds more to be delivered in the coming years, will be deployed on Vietjet’s high-demand regional routes, enhancing the travel experience for millions of passengers. It also underscores Vietjet’s commitment to expanding its international network, while contributing to the sustainable development of the aviation industry regionally and globally.
