Low-fare airline Vietjet has taken delivery of a new A330 widebody, bringing the carrier’s total fleet to 121 aircraft across Vietjet, Vietjet Thailand, and Vietjet Qazaqstan. The aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, and will operate across Australia, Kazakhstan, India, Japan, and Europe.
The aircraft delivery is part of a huge fleet expansion and modernisation programme by Vietjet, with over 400 Airbus and Boeing aircraft on order until 2030.
