Caicos Express secures inter-island government contract

Caicos Express Airways (9Q, Providenciales) has secured a contract from the government of the Turks & Caicos Islands to operate Grand Turk Island to South Caicos return flights, five months after interCaribbean Airways (JY, Providenciales) dropped the route.

Using a government subsidy, Caicos Express currently plies the route 9x weekly using a Cessna (twin piston) 402.

Caicos Express operates scheduled and charter flights among various points in the Turks & Caicos Islands as well as to Haiti internationally. It operates a fleet of two Beech 1900Ds and three Cessna
