EVA Air has added a second destination in the Philippines to its network with the introduction on 27 March of daily flights between Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) and Cebu (CEB).

The 1,666-kilometre route will be operated by the airline’s 184-seat A321 fleet and faces direct competition from Cebu Pacific Air’s four weekly flights. EVA Air already serves the Philippines capital Manila from Taipei with 13 weekly flights. This raises to 46 the number of destinations served non-stop by the Star Alliance carrier from its home hub at the start of the summer season.
