Sun d’Or International Airlines, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Israeli national carrier El Al, started twice-weekly (Thursdays and Sundays) flights between its Tel Aviv (TLV) base and Valencia (VLC) in Spain. The seasonal service, operated by the parent airline’s 737-800s, and which started on 14 April, is scheduled to be suspended on 20 October. There is no competition on this city pair. Last year the carrier launched new seasonal routes from Tel Aviv to Ljubljana in Slovenia, Naples in Italy and Nice in France.
